Provides downloadable access to all underlying CYP-LEX files — separate datasets for each of the three age bands (7–9, 10–12, and 13+), as well as a combined dataset for all ages — enabling users to perform any statistical analyses or research they require.

  • The CYP-LEX interactive online tool: https://cyp-lex.rastlelab.com/. Enables users to extract words with specific characteristics or compute properties for a selected set of words through a user-friendly point-and-click interface, requiring no technical skills.

  • A RegEx algorithm designed to identify English words whose orthography suggests morphological complexity: https://osf.io/vab95/. Developed specifically for CYP-LEX, but has potential to be scaled for use with other datasets.

  • A Stan specification for the skewed t-distribution: https://osf.io/6s23f/.
